Judge Jeff Allen Wins Democratic Primary





	Judge Jeff Allen enjoyed a decisive victory in the February 08 Democratic Primary election. “I am deeply humbled and greatly appreciate the incredible support I received, not only from our friends and neighbors throughout the community, but also from our friends in organized labor,” Allen said. Judge Allen, who worked his way through college and law school as a Laborer and Teamster, had strong support from local labor organizations including the Will-Grundy Counties Central Trades and Labor Council, AFL-CIO; International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 176, AFL-CIO; American Federation of Teachers Local 604 IFT/AFT, AFL-CIO. Additional support came from the Joliet Township Democratic Organization; Democratic Organization of Troy Township and the Plainfield Township Democratic Organization. “I look forward to deepening these friendships as we move forward to the general election in the fall,” Allen said.
